Key sections include anti-fat bias, body safety at school, eating disorder prevention, supporting students with eating disorders at school, body image, body inclusivity, and body dissatisfaction, each highlighted with distinct colors and arrows.

I work with boarding schools, independent schools, K-12 schools, and colleges across New England and the Northeast — building safer, more supportive campuses and equipping the people responsible for student mental health to respond with confidence.

Having attended boarding school myself, I understand firsthand the culture, pressures, and community that shape a student's relationship with food and body image — which is part of what makes this work personal to me. Based in Rochester, NY, and available to travel for the right engagement.

I currently serve as Director of the Western New York Comprehensive Care Center for Eating Disorders and as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Nursing at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

For School & Institutional Teams

A progression schools can move through, starting wherever makes sense for your team.

For general faculty, advisors, houseparents, coaches, and dining staff

Prevention Training

The foundation of a lower-risk school is a culture where the adults around students — not just the counseling office — know how to notice warning signs and help build a healthier relationship with food and body image campus-wide. This training covers early warning signs, how dorm life, dining halls, and athletics can unintentionally reinforce disordered eating, and what to do if a staff member is concerned about a student.

Intervention Training

Once your general staff has a foundation, the next layer is making sure the people directly responsible for student mental health have the clinical confidence to act — assessment and risk stratification, when and how to refer for a higher level of care, coordinating with families and outside providers, and supporting a student's return to campus after treatment.

Many schools book both trainings together — general staff and mental health staff, each with content suited to their role. For continued support beyond training, I also offer ongoing consultation throughout the year.
